Home Visits

Comprehensive Evaluation

We will establish over the phone if you meet criteria for a home visit (see who meets criteria below). Then you fill out basic medical history on our online portal and we schedule a home visit at your earliest convenience. Meanwhile, our infectious disease expert, Dr. Lerman will call you and discuss your current symptoms. Shortly afterwards, a nurse practicioner (NP) will arrive at your home and will be in full personal protective equipment (PPE) including a gown, gloves, N95 mask and a face shield. The NP will give you a mask to place on yourself, then she/he will proceed to check your vital signs, examine you, and if you would like COVID-19 testing it will be done. The NP will leave a pulse oximeter with you so that you may record your own blood oxygen saturation, and she will also leave you with a thermometer so that you can keep track of your own temperatures. The NP will leave your home and all PPE will be left in a large plastic bag to be placed in the trash. Dr. Lerman will call you with her recommendations after she discusses your case with the NP who examined you.  If you were tested COVID-19 the results will be available within 24 hours.

COVID Testing & Basic Examination

We will schedule a home visit. A nurse practitioner (NP) will arrive at your home in full personal protective equipment (PPE) including a gown, gloves, N95 mask and a face shield. The NP will give you a mask to place on yourself, then she/he will proceed to check your vital signs, examine you, and administer the COVID-19 test. Results will be available in 24 hours.
